In our first installment of great things to do for Valentine’s Day we outlined some great ideas of how you can wow your woman. In the meantime we’ve come up with some more ideas that might help to make your Valentine’s day special. The key to a great Valentine’s day is really the effort that you put into making it special for your lady. When she knows you went out of your way for her, it makes her melt. Here are some thought-provoking ideas that can tug at the strings to her heart.
Take her down memory lane
Woman love to revisit great memories. One way to do that is to take her on a recreation of your first date. My wife and I had our first date at a local mini-golf place. One year on Valentine’s day I took her back there. Was it cheesy? Yeah, a little, but she totally loved it. It brought her back to the time when we first had sparks for each other, and being able to see how far we had come totally made her evening. Not to mention, mini-golf is just fun at any age!
Make it an all day event
How romantic would it be if you planned out a whole day of romantic little things for your woman? You could start with breakfast in bed, have flowers delivered to her during the day, and then plan a special evening at night. The fact that you thought enough about her to dedicate your whole day to making her happy will really win you points.
Sing her a song
You might be saying “no way” right now, but first understand why this is such a romantic thing to do. I know you’ll say “but I can’t sing” and you know what? That makes it even better. Women love it when a man can make a complete fool of himself for her. It shows that he cares for her enough to not care what others think. If you know you can’t sing, and you’re still willing to do it for her, it will put a huge smile in her face and warm her heart. She’ll know that you can be the man to do whatever it takes for her in the long-run.
Make a scene
You see it in the movies all the time. The guy plans a sappy proposal in front of everyone at the baseball game, or at the amusement park, or wherever else people gather. The reason that it’s so romantic is that it shows that you don’t care who’s around or who sees you, you love her enough that you’re not trying to hide it. Now, you don’t have to propose if you’re not ready for all that yet, but try to set up something special with everybody watching. It will be something she’ll be talking about to all her friends the next day.
Valentine’s day is a chance to do something really great for your woman, so make the effort and go all out. These are the things that stay with you forever, and they can make your current relationship that much stronger (and sexier!). Think about what your woman enjoys and plan a big surprise around it. Show her that you’re willing to go the extra mile to make her happy and you can put yourself down in her mind as the guy that wowed her on Valentine’s Day.
