So you’ve done all the steps in getting the guy, and you’re ready to take things to the next level. But for some reason, your guy just doesn’t seem to be willing to make the move on you. Why is it that the guys you don’t have any interest in always try to push up on you, but the ones you actually like are hesitant to move in? Sometimes guys don’t pick up on hints very quickly. It can be frustrating for you at times, but there are some things that you can do to increase your chances of getting your guy to kiss you.
Break the closeness barrier
A lot of times when guys are hesitant to make that first kiss, it’s because they’re not completely sure that the woman is feeling the same attraction that they are. You can help guide your guy by breaking the closeness barrier with him. When you guys are watching a movie on the couch, snuggle up closer to him. Kiss him on the neck and look into his eyes. At that point he’ll know for sure that you’re ready to take the next step.
Use some old tricks
Guys love it when women wear their clothes, it’s just a fact. Go in the closet and find one of his button up shirts and where it with some panties and notice the look that comes over your guy’s face. Use old tricks like this to set the mood for you guys. Spark the thought in his brain, and there should be sparks to follow. Sometimes guys need the blatantly obvious to be able to get them in gear.
Say something
When all else fails, just ask him. A simple “were you ever planning on kissing me” can open up the lines of conversation between the two of you. If you are going to have something special together, communication will be key, so this is as good a place to start as any. If you do ask, at least you’ll give him an opportunity to explain what he’s been waiting for, and can allow you a chance to ease any of his concerns. Sometimes the most direct approach is the best in the end.
Getting a guy to kiss you shouldn’t be this hard should it? There could be many reasons why he’s waiting, so try a couple things and if all else fails, just ask him. While it might be frustrating to wait, and not knowing his intentions can be a heavy weight on your mind, the good news is that once you break that kiss barrier you’ll start to do it all the time. Quit waiting around wondering and help make it happen so you guys can get to the kissing, which is the best part!
