Yesterday we talked about how to be the perfect guy, but what about for the women?  I think most woman will be somewhat surprised at what it takes to be the perfect girl.  One thing you’ll notice is that there’s nothing on there about being pretty or having a nice body.  Sure, guys like an attractive woman but over time looks will fade and you still need something to show you have value.  Looks are only skin-deep, and while it’s important to care about how you look, it shouldn’t be what defines you.  With that being said, here are some tips on being the perfect girl.

Be low maintenance

It doesn’t matter what kind of man you’re with, they don’t like high maintenance women.  There’s nothing worse then feeling like the person you’re with is too spoiled to appreciate all the things you do for them.  Plus, if you have to continuously take care of their every need (when they could easily do it themselves) all it does is create resentment in your relationship.  Guys love a girl that can be easy going, and actually think they’re at their sexiest when they’re just hanging out.

Have class

Class is something that is somewhat of a lost art in today’s dating scene.  With our propensity for alcohol and casual sex we sometimes blur the lines of acting with class.  As a single person we have some latitude in our actions and have the ability to just go out and have fun without worrying about a lot of that stuff.  But when it comes down to relationships, you want someone that is quality.  Being the drunk girl that’s fun to go out with doesn’t make you the girl anyone wants to build a relationship with.

Be silly

Being able to be silly and not taking yourself too seriously is a huge thing for guys.  Couples that laugh together, stay together, and a big part of that is being able to act a fool with each other sometimes.  There is a side to ourselves that we share only with our partner, and those special moments making each other laugh are the things that we remember most when you’re not around.  Knowing that our woman is down to earth and cool makes us not want to go anywhere else.

Be independent

Men like to take care of their women in general.  We like to do special things for you, but only because we want to, not because we have to.  If you’re not independent enough to go to work, make some money, have some ambition, or just do anything…then it’s a real turnoff.  We enjoy doing for you because we love you.  We don’t enjoy doing for you because you’re too lazy to do it yourself.

Have that motherly instinct 

As much as we don’t want you to be our mothers, we do enjoy when you have that motherly instinct.  First of all, whenever we do have a family we want to know that you’ll be a great mother to our children.  Second of all, there’s something comforting about having someone around that has motherly tendencies just in general.  There are times when we’re not our strongest, and having a woman there that can make us feel better can make all the difference.

Being the perfect woman means being able to be a lot of things, but they all central around being a quality person and not necessarily a hot sex kitten.  Sometimes when we’re dating we tend to focus on the wrong things, but it’s a product of our single ways.  Being the perfect girl is more than just being the one that catches their attention.  It’s the one that can keep it over the length of a relationship.
