Lately I’ve had some bad luck in my love life, and I’m feeling a little down wondering if I’ll ever find my soul mate, what can I do?

When dealing with dating and relationships we all have times when we feel a little down and lonely. Unfortunately it’s a part of life, and what makes finding that soul mate that much more exciting. So what can you do when you’re having a down time in your love life to make you feel better? I always felt that giving your appearance a spark and going out for some fun really boosts a person’s confidence. When you look better, you feel better. When you have that extra confidence, it really radiates from you when you meet new people.

My advice is to go out and treat yourself to a nice makeover. Get yourself a new haircut, buy yourself some new clothes, and you’ll be surprised how it puts a little pep in your step. Organize a fun night out with your friends, and focus the evening on just hanging out and having fun…not on meeting people. Having a great worry-free night with your friends while you’re looking good and feeling confident is good for the soul, and a great way to pick yourself up from a little loneliness.

While being between dates can be lonely at times, there is something to be said for being single without any commitments to worry about. Turn the negative into a positive and take this time in your life to enjoy not having to deal with relationship drama. Take advantage of your new found time and do some things that you always wanted to do. Get involved in activities that will help you get to where you want to go, like attending a conference or going back to school. Soon enough you’ll be back to building a relationship with someone new and you’ll be facing all new challenges.
