We’ve probably all been in a situation where the person you like just doesn’t seem to “see” you like they do other guys. This is especially true when the person you like is a friend of yours. The key to being noticed is to stand out above the rest of the men that she meets, and the rest of the men in her life. Since there are so many guys out there that just don’t have a clue, it shouldn’t be too hard. In reality, being noticed by a woman is kind of like a job promotion. You only get it after you’ve already done the work. What this means is if you act like a man that could be dating material maybe she’ll finally see you as one. Here are 5 ways to make her see you in a different light.
1 - Change up your look
There are many things you can do to improve your appearance, and a little change can go a long way to getting her to notice you. Sometimes we just get so used to our friends, that we see what we’re used to seeing. Making a change will force her to look at you again for the first time. It’s no guarantee that there will be an attraction there, but it’s a good step.
2 - Be sweet, but not like her girlfriends
Okay, here’s something that guy “friends” do all the time. In trying to be sweet, you basically come off as the dorky friend that will do anything they say. Being sweet is about being nice and thoughtful…but still being a guy. The difference is that most guys just aren’t very sweet and it drives girls nuts. But if you go overboard on the sweet stuff, you lose all credibility as a guy. No matter how sweet a woman wants her man, she still wants him to be a man.
3 - Take the lead
One thing that men are known for (and women love about them) is that they take charge of things. Even the most independent woman wants to know that her man can take of business if need be. Show her that you don’t need to follow anyone around by taking her out and doing everything. Decide on where to go, what type of clothes to wear, pay for everything. Make it to where you are taking her out, not the two of you going out together. It’s not something you have to do every time, but it’s something that shows her that you have something offer in a relationship and that you won’t just be the guy that tells her how much he likes her every 5 minutes.
4 - Treat your own girlfriends well
If you are friends with her, and you end up having other girlfriends, make sure that you treat them well. Women notice how men treat their women, and they’ll notice if you’re treating them well. The great part about it is that it’s basically proof that you can be a great dating option if you’re already a great one to someone else. Many of the relationships in our lives are like practice, so make sure you’re always learning from each one. Showing her that you’re a great boyfriend to someone will make her more likely to want that someone to be her.
5 - Be about something
The problem with most guys is that they lack depth in their personalities. There’s thousands of guys out there that you probably couldn’t even tell apart if they’re just talking to you. That’s pretty sad, but use it to your advantage. If there are things that you’re passionate about, or opinions that you have about life and what you want out of it, share those things with her and you might be surprised at how impressed she is. Everyone wants to feel like their life has meaning, and part of what gives us that feeling is being around others who feel like their life has meaning as well.
Looking at this list you’re probably wondering why you never did some of these things before. They are pretty basic, but effective. It’s amazing how such little things can make such a big difference in people’s perception of us. You’ll never be able to just change how a person feels, but at the very least you can do things to make them evaluate you an additional time. Like most things in life, all you can really ask for is a chance.
